Frogmouth Ponds Tasmanian Clover Honey is a beautifully mild, golden honey harvested from clover-rich pastures across Tasmania’s pristine agricultural regions. Light in colour and delicately sweet, it’s the everyday honey that earns a permanent spot on your table — whether you’re stirring it into tea, drizzling it over yoghurt, or spreading it thick on warm toast.
Sourced from bees foraging on white and red clover blossoms, this honey carries a clean, subtly floral character that makes it one of the most versatile varieties in our hive. No additives, no blending with offshore product — just honest Tasmanian clover honey, as it should be.

Why Tasmanian Clover Honey?
Tasmania’s cool climate and low-pollution environment produce clover honey with exceptional clarity and a delicate flavour profile that mass-produced mainland honeys simply can’t replicate. Clover is one of the most abundant flowering plants in Tasmania’s farming regions, giving bees access to rich nectar flows across the season.
How to Use Clover Honey
Clover honey’s mild sweetness makes it one of the most adaptable honeys in the kitchen and beyond:
Storage & Handling
Store your Frogmouth Ponds Clover Honey at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Natural honey does not expire — if it crystallises over time, simply place the jar in warm water and stir gently to return it to its liquid state. Do not microwave or overheat, as this can reduce the natural goodness of raw honey.
Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Frogmouth Ponds Clover Honey is minimally processed to preserve its natural enzymes, antioxidants and flavour. It is not ultra-filtered or heat-treated like many commercially blended honeys.
Crystallisation is completely natural and is actually a sign of quality raw honey. It does not mean the honey has gone off. To reliquefy, place the jar in a bowl of warm (not boiling) water and stir gently until smooth.
Clover honey is safe for children over 12 months of age. Honey should never be given to infants under 12 months due to the risk of infant botulism. Always consult your healthcare professional if you have questions about dietary suitability for young children.
Clover honey is mild, sweet and light — it’s the most versatile, everyday variety. Leatherwood has a stronger, more exotic floral character unique to Tasmania’s wilderness. Manuka is prized for its antimicrobial properties and earthy, medicinal flavour. Clover is the ideal starting point if you’re new to Tasmanian honey.
